A HydraFacial™ is a multi-step resurfacing procedure that gently enhances your skin by combining the power of hydradermabrasion with specific serums.

Hydradermabrasion employs tiny droplets of water and oxygen to carefully remove damaged skin cells without causing discomfort, inflammation, or drying out the skin.

The HydraFacial uses Vortex-Fusion® serum delivery technology. The unique procedure combines the spiral design of HydroPeel® Tips (the pen-like device) and the HydraFacial proprietary vacuum technology and serums to create a vortex that easily removes impurities while simultaneously delivering hydrating skin solutions such as hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, and peptides.

These nourishing substances ensure long-term results that you can see and feel right away.

The 4-step Hydrafacial™ procedure can be completed in just 30 minutes.

Because there is no irritation or downtime, you can finish additional skin care treatments at the same time or quickly get back to your daily routine.

Advantages Of HydraFacial™ Treatment

HydraFacial™ is a gentle yet excellent alternative to more abrasive facial treatments. It may even be superior to them because of the following advantages:

  • Suitable for all skin types

HydraFacial™ will work for you whether you have sensitive skin, acne-prone skin, dry skin, oily skin, or combination skin.

  • Zero downtime

There is no downtime with HydraFacial™, which is another reason why people choose it over other skin care treatments. You can even wear makeup immediately after the procedure.

  • Instantaneous outcomes

Since the procedure is gentle and addresses multiple skin issues at once, you can already see the results right away.

HydraFacial™ Procedure

Step 1 - Vortex Exfoliation

Exfoliation and cleansing come first. The HydraFacial™ wand will be used to gently wash and exfoliate the skin using a vortex cleansing and hydraPeel tip. This carefully opens your pores while removing sebum and dead skin cells.

Step 2 - Acid Peel

The wand’s tip will then be changed to conduct a mild chemical peel to remove deep dirt from the pores. HydraFacial™ use a non-irritating mixture of salicylic acid and glycolic acid, in contrast to conventional chemical peels that irritate and leave your face red for hours or days.

Step 3 - Vortex Extraction

Extraction is the third stage which involves removing blackheads and other impurities from your pores using painless but powerful vortex vacuum suction. This dirt gathers in a cup and then thrown away.

Step 4 - Serum Application

Finally, a calming solution made up of antioxidative and hydrating serum using the HydraFacial™ wand hydrates, rejuvenates, and detoxifies the skin.

Risks Of HydraFacial™ Treatment

Traditional facials like chemical peels or laser resurfacing can leave your skin inflamed for hours to days following treatment. HydraFacial™ on the other hand usually causes only the following:

  • Slight discomfort

This discomfort is oftentimes due only to the feeling of pressure that the suction power from the wand generates.

  • Mild redness

The redness is typically the result of improved blood flow and not irritation.

  • Irritation

Rarely does the procedure cause irritation. If it does, it is usually only mild.

If any of these side effects do arise, they often go away within an hour of the operation.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How Frequently Should You Get a HydraFacial™?

Many report that after just one treatment, their skin was visibly refined and had an even, radiant tone. Hydrated and smooth skin lasted for up to 7 days. Despite the fact that your skin seems dewy and glowing after a HydraFacial™, repeat sessions are needed to maintain this effect. Compared to other facials, its effects last longer. HydraFacial™ treatment every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended to reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, oily skin, and congestion.

    Is the Hydrafacial™ Customizable?

Yes! The serums utilized during the treatment can be changed to suit your individual skin issues. The dermatologist can also perform other additional treatments that you may need right after the procedure since there is no downtime in HydraFacial™.
