Laser Skin Resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing involves the use of a carbon dioxide laser to gently exfoliate your skin layer by layer. When the outermost layer of the skin is removed, the deeper layer of skin is exposed, leading to collagen stimulation and production. As a result, a new layer of skin is formed, leading to a brighter and more youthful appearance.
Indications for laser skin resurfacing include treatment of sun-damaged skin, fine lines and wrinkles on the face as well as scars due to acne, trauma, chicken pox or previous surgery.
